This cartoon reports about my researches among old-town neighborhoods in the Centro Histórico of Mexico City in 2004. Portraiying the homes and living conditions of the inhabitants unveils a nuance of the city which remains unknown to most tourists and even local people. These neighborhoods are marked by precarity but show also a rare social variety which is difficult to find elsewhere in the mexican metropolis.
